Regional resource hubs for SeniorsNET members
April is the start for implementing a new activity within the project – empowering members through the development of regional resource HUBs, dedicated to social and medical services for the elderly.
What does this actually mean?
The partners within the project will develop a regional resource HUB according to the area where they are active. Thus: Four Change Association provides local support and consultancy in the field of services for the elderly in the South and South Muntenia area; FSC Bacău covers the North East area and Caritas Blaj the Centre area.
We therefor contribute to the development of local organisations by providing up-to-date information on social policies for seniors, funding, examples of good practice.
The HUBs also provide a networking component to the organisations by facilitating experience and know-how sharing.
On this occasion, the project partners met yesterday to outline the action plan.
Briefly, what is to happen further on:
- 5 member organisations will be included in the training and consultancy process (for each HUB);
- 200 hours (per HUB) of training and consultancy provided in the identified priority areas of interest;
- 15 individual meetings / local visits to provide support;
- 3 regional meetings;
- 3 training sessions.
