Primary health care in rural Romania (Case study)
On 19 May 2022 Adam Slatina Timis(member of SenioriNET) organised a Round Table on Resilience. The event “A Good Practice in Primary Health Care” was held together with the Flemish twin city Geel from Belgium.
On this occasion, Ioan Suru – Manager ADAMS presented the updated Slatina-Timiș Case Study, which compares the influence of the their Centre on the health of the population with that of other villages in the county of Caras-Severin and among the country.
Fire prevention initiatives, bilateral cooperation and support for the fire fighting department were also on the event agenda. At the same time, LIFE – primary prevention campaign was discussed upon and presented to family doctors and local authorities.
The day centre for the elderly in Slatina-Times will be coordinated by Adam Slatina Timis in partnership with the community’s Town Hall.
