The first training session on project management has ended
From 10-29 May, 20 people from SenioriNET member organisations completed the Project Manager training programme, which ended with a written exam and portfolio presentation.
According to the course participants themselves, “they received a real toolkit for a number of potential problems that can arise in organisations.”
“I understood that project management requires the talent to integrate a wide variety of disciplines in order to meet complex objectives.”
The role of project manager is critical to streamlining results. From a specialist position, he or she decides on the pathways to successful project implementation.
If we were to briefly mention some of the ideas that emerged from the training sessions, we would say that a project management process involves a series of steps:
- identifying needs
- setting clearly defined and achievable objectives
- balancing purpose – quality – time – budget
- continually adapting planning
The enthusiasm, innovative project ideas and the team spirit of those present in the training group, gives us great pleasure and motivates us to deliver useful and quality training programmes in the future.
