Research on the elderly attitude towards home care
St. Damian Association from Iași makes available to those interested the research “The role of cognitions and personality factors that influence the degree of openness of the elderly to home care”.
The paper contributes to the understanding of how personality factors modulate the reactions of the elderly and influence their relationship with social service providers.
The research is useful both for:
- Representatives of public institutions, decision-makers and specialists with a role in formulating social assistance policies for the adequacy of assistance and care programs for the elderly.
- Specialists (Social workers, psychologists etc) who provide socio-medical services to the elderly to personalize care and assistance plans.
