Romania is ageing fast! Currently, 19.2% of the population is aged 65 and over. By 2050, the share of older adults will reach 27.7% (*according to the National Strategy on Long-term Care and Active Ageing for the period 2023-2030)..
Older people have the RIGHT to a dignified and active old age. The WHITE CHARTER is a manifesto document that puts on the public agenda, the respect of the rights of elderly in Romania:
    • The right to a dignified, autonomous, active and useful old age
    • The right to protection, social assistance and a safe life
    • The right to quality care and social services
    • The right to health, medical services, treatment and care tailored to the needs of each elderly person
    • The right to a family life
    • The right to information and direct communication, with easy access to digital means of communication

In order to support this initiative and its importance, in front of authorities, we need to obtain 10.000 signatures.
